Fundraising basicsThere are a three ways you can fundraise for the trip:
Via the opportunities we're organising as a district Details of these will be updated below and also shared in the Disney 2026 Facebook group. We will always let you know before the event how the funds will be allocated. Via opportunities within your own unit If the group coming from your unit would like to organise things within the unit then please talk to your leader about this. They will agree how monies will be allocated before each event takes place. Individual fundraising Anyone is welcome to do their own fundraising for the event, eg a sponsored event, having a car at a car boot sale, or running a mini game amongst their friends. See below for some resources available. When you pay these funds in to the group account, please ensure you email us to let us know how the funds have been raised and so we can match fund it (if appropriate). Please also keep an eye on our Facebook group just for leaders, parents and carers attending this Disney trip for any last minute opportunities, communications and/or information. |
Other income:
Company match funding
Do you work for a company that offers match funding to it's employees when they support fundraising events? If so, please get in touch with us so we can talk further about how this might help our cause, not just for you own child but the event as a whole.
Grants
If you know of any grants we might apply for, please let us know.
