Dursley does Disney 2026

We’re excited to announce that we’re planning a trip to Disneyland Paris for our Girlguiding Dursley district members, including Brownies, Guides, Rangers and Young Leaders. We already have a team of very excited volunteers willing to be part of this trip, so we’re now ready for our young members to sign up. ​

Bookings basics

• Bookings are now open.
• Bookings will be on a first come, first served basis. The form can be completed straight away to reserve your space.
• A deposit payment is required by 10th June 2024 to confirm your space(s).

General information

Dates: Sunday 24th May to Wednesday 27th May 2026
Cost: £800 per young person (but don’t let that put you off! Please read on!)
What does this cost include?

• Coach and ferry travel from Dursley.
• Three night’s accommodation at the Campanile Val de France hotel.
• Two days park tickets to the Disneyland Park and the Walt Disney Studios Park.
• Breakfast in the hotel.
• Evening meals.
• Packed lunches for the two Disney days and the return journey.
• A trip hoodie & polo shirt.
• A trip badge.
• Travel insurance.

What is not included in the cost?

• Spending money.
• A packed breakfast and lunch will be needed for the first travel day.

Your young member will need:

• To be a member of Girlguiding at the time of the event. If they leave Girlguiding they will no longer be able to travel with us.
• A valid passport *
• A valid ETIAS Visa Waiver for France (being introduced in 2025) *
• A valid UK Global Health Insurance Card (GHIC) *

* It will be your responsibility to ensure these are in place, including covering the cost.

An information meeting will be set up a little closer to the travel dates to talk through the trip with parents/carers, to share all the trip information in more detail and to support any questions regarding any of the above. 

Funding

We will run a range of fundraising opportunities for you to join in with over the next two years, including the Dursley Fireworks event. We are also able to match fund up to £300 per person from their fundraising efforts. For those that join in with our range of opportunities, it is very possible that the full cost could be fundraised.
