Who are Rainbows?
Rainbows have fun! They take part in games and activities as part of the guiding programme. Everything a Rainbow does helps her to develop and to think for herself, in a safe girl-only environment.
Who can join Rainbows?
Any girl aged four to seven who wishes to can become a Rainbow.
The Rainbow promise
Rainbows make this simple promise that they share with members around the world:

Rainbows in the district
We have three Rainbow groups in Dursley district.

Brownies
Who are Brownies?
Brownies have fun! Their meetings are full of challenges, games and activities, usually ones that the Brownies have suggested themselves.
Who can join Brownies?
Any girl aged of seven to ten who wishes to can become a Brownie.

Guides
Who are Guides?
Being a Guide is all about learning new skills, making your own decisions and having fun. Guiding provides a safe environment to explore new possibilities and achieve personal goals while making friends and having adventures. And it’s up to each Guide to work out which opportunities are relevant for her, whether it’s improving her football skills, making mocktails or learning about independent living.
Who can join Guides?
Any girl aged ten to fourteen who wishes to can become a Guide.

Rangers
Who are Rangers?
In the Rangers, young women participate in a fun and flexible programme. There are also a variety of recognised qualifications or awards, both within and outside guiding that girls can access if they wish.
Who can join Rangers?
Any girl aged fourteen to eighteen who wishes to can become a Ranger.

Girlguiding is an inclusive organisation.

Join us
To register your daughter(s) with any of our groups, please follow the link to the national Girlguiding website where you can register your interest. Your enquiry will then be passed on to the team of your chosen group and one of the volunteers will be in touch with further details.
We often run with a waiting list so please do get in touch early to avoid disappointment. |
